Brothers

Flash back moment

It's good to know that they once loved each other. After a few difficult days of fighting, teasing, and time outs, I was happy to come across this photo of the boys. Sometimes I wish they were still this age, and then other times I am happy they can feed themselves, dress themselves and go to school all day. They are the best of friends and sometimes the worst. My neighbor once commented that my boys are in their own special little
boy's club, because they are always all three together. But then there are the days when all they can do is annoy each other. I think they do it mainly to aggravate me!

T.P. anyone?

This is what happens to your house when many teenager girls spend the night at your house. I guess what goes around is bound to come around. My boys thought it was awesome and they actually were the ones to pick it all up, because it was extra fun to play with toilet paper off the roll???

Watch out Mr. Beckham!

Carson is sooooo excited for soccer season to start. He has already been wearing his costume I mean uniform all over town. At this age it's all about the costume, the cuteness and chasing the ball. His coach told him the best part of soccer is the uniform and so Carson has taken it to a whole new level. He wants to sleep, eat and play in his uniform.
BTW, I do have other children, just this is Carson's first experience with a team sport. He has been a spectator his whole life, watching his brothers play all kinds of sports. Now it's finally about him!!!!

Staples

Staples, not just a device used to attach papers together, or a neighborhood store where you can buy office supplies, but it is something you can find while eating a gourmet dinner at a fancy schmancy restaurant in San Francisco.

Here's the story.

Girl and boy go to dinner to celebrate Anniversary.
Girl is eating her yummy food when she thinks she has broken a a tooth, oh wait that's not a broken tooth, but what is it? Oh, it's an industrial size staple fresh from a staple gun. It's an unused staple. Where and how did it get in her meal?
Girl complains to waiter. Owner of resturant comes over and now the meal is complimentary. Boy is happy that now the expensive meal is not so expensive anymore.
Girl is very happy she did not swallow the large staple. It could have been a problem.

End of story.

Tuesday discoveries

Tuesday discoveries

  • Carson finds new found interest in the bags of toys that are on their way to good will.

  • Cleaning ladies stay longer and do a better job when I actually stay home with them and pretend to clean.

  • Even though we've only been in this home 2 1/2 years it looks like every room needs touch up paint especially all doors, baseboards and trimwork.

  • All the toilets in my house have officially been marked with little boy pee. (I use to only let them pee in their own bathroom, some how now they pee in all the bathrooms and now all my toilets reek!!!!)

  • Is it alright if I make them pee out in the bushes in the garden? Anyone have any solutions for me?

  • I don't think I will ever see the bottom of my laundry basket. It's just not possible. I dream of an empty laundry basket!!!

  • Tylenol PM works when I have a migraine and now today I am back to myself.
